Gaithersburg Mayor bestows Environmental Award

 

On April 27th, Mayor Katz of the City of Gaithersburg honored Zosimos as an environmental leader in our community.   

 

We're very proud to be recognized in this way!

Zosimos has a New Logo!

Our website had a dramatic change this week - a newly designed logo!  Just in case you missed it, here it is:

 

It's easier to read than original cursive logo.  The new logo will be incorporated onto the product labels over time.  Rest assured, only the design is different, the products are the same!  

 

Spring Sale  

Several of our products are on sale to celebrate Spring! 

 

In the Washington, DC area, warmer temperatures soon lead to hot, muggy days and lots of mosquitoes.  With that in mind, all sizes of Brazilian Rainforest Spray and Bug-Away Spray are on sale.  Customers have told us that the Brazilian Rainforest Spray is also effective against fire ants when sprayed on shoes.

 

All Body Butters are also on sale!  Customers rave about the Body Butter's amazing ability to heal her eczema.    

 

Introducing Kathy

There's a new dynamo in our studio!  Her name is Kathy Bell and she is managing the Sales Representative Program.  Kathy came to us after running her own cosmetic business for several years.  She has been at Zosimos since March and is keeping us laughing with her happy banter.   If you have contacted us about becoming a Sales Rep. or intend to, you'll be hearing from Kathy. 

 

What's New This Month?

We found a really cute and functional clip-on mini lip balm tube and it is available in any of our Lip Balm flavors - Apricot Nectar, Black Cherry, Coconut, Cappuccino, Strawberry, Unscented or Watermelon.  Attach it to your backpack, key ring, belt loop, camera strap, beach bag or anything with a small tab.  Clip remains affixed, while you simply pull off the balm and then slide it back on.  We've affectionately named it Take-Along Lip Therapy.

 

Adding to our bamboo cosmetic brush line, there is now a Bamboo handled Brow/Lash comb.  These brushes do not have the spoolie on the opposite end like the other Brow brush we carry.  Let us know how you like it! 

 

New Website Tool

Changing the quantity of an item got a whole lot easier!  On each product page, there are now plus (+) and minus (-) signs next to the "Add to Cart" button.  Just click on them to increase or decrease the amount of an item you want to purchase. 

 

A May Event We're Supporting

On May 17th, the Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary is holding their annual Run For the Animals.  Each year, Zosimos donates a prize for one of the winners.  The Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary rescues and cares for abused farm animals - it is a very special place!
