Moment With the Makeup Artist

As the end of the year approaches many of us are left wondering what to wear to our holiday parties. Our makeup Artist has put together two color stories to take some of the guess work out of your makeup wardrobe!

First is the “Golden Goddess” look. Using the Blending Brush, or the Blending Fluff Brush sweep the Bronze Mineral Eye Shadow over the entire lid from lashline to eyebrow. Contour in the crease with Grape Mineral Eye Shadow using the new Angled Shadow Brush. Using the Round Contour Brush apply the Blackberry Mineral Eye Shadow at the lashline on both the upper and lower lids. Follow with a light application of the Blackberry Eyeliner. The Cinnamon Lip set containing the Cinnamon Lip Pencil and Cinnamon Lipstick are recommended. Top it off with Cinnamon Lipgloss. To complete the look, sweep the Cocoa Shimmer Dust over your shoulders and décolleté with the Large Soft Fan Brush.

The second look is the “Ice Princess.” Again, use the Blending Brush, or the Blending Fluff Brush to sweep the White Highlight Eye Shadow over the entire lid from lashline to eyebrow. Contour in the crease with Slate Blue Eye Shadow using the new Angled Shadow Brush. Using the Round Contour Brush apply the Silverbelle Eye Shadow at the lashline on both the upper and lower lids. Follow with a light application of either the Silver Shimmer or Ash Eyeliner. The Redbud Lip set containing the Redbud Lip Pencil and Redbud Lipstick are recommended for this look. Top it off with Redbud Lipgloss. To complete the look, sweep the Icy Shimmer Dust over your shoulders and décolleté with the Large Soft Fan Brush.

There are two new shades of foundation, Autumn Cornhusk and Ebony Mink. Autumn Cornhusk is a Medium Toast shade bridging the gap between Bamboo and Chestnut. Ebony Mink is now our darkest shade, a deep mahogany. Also introduced are Herbal Bouquet Mineral Makeup Setting Mist (a Jasmine and Rosemary blend), which serves a dual purpose. Herbal Bouquet not only is available as a Setting Mist, but can also be used in place of Purified Water in the Primer upon request to masque the scent of the liquid silk. Botanically Beautiful Hair Conditioner is the eagerly anticipated companion to the Cala Lily Clean Shampoo. We've added Cocoa Salt Scrub. Scented with cocoa powder and chocolate extract, it smells like fresh baked brownies! Reformulated Lemonzest eyeshadow is back online without Titanium Dioxide. Finally, our new Silver Shimmer eye pencil will add sparkle to all your holiday celebrations!

For many new users of Mineral Foundation, learning to apply it properly is a necessity. There seems to be some mystery surrounding the use of mineral makeup. We want all of our customers to have that flawless face look. So we created a step by step Guide to Mineral Foundation Application.

Starting at $50 plus shipping, you can relax and leave it to us! Vegan baskets, bath care baskets, cosmetic baskets and unisex baskets are just some of the types we have created. You pay only for the products and shipping, there is no extra fee for the basket service. We will send you a digital photo of your basket, and the Delivery Confirmation number so you can track the shipping.

Gift Certificates are also available, and can be in any denomination. Any amount you want! They are valid for 1 year from when we mail them out. Simply provide the name and mailing address of whom to send it. Our website currently lists $40, $50 and $100.
