Zosimos Botanicals LLC is a family business which has been owned and operated in the State of Maryland since 2004. The business name is derived from the historical personage Zosimos of Panoplis, a 3rd Century alchemist. Panoplis is present day Akhmim in the South of Egypt. Alchemy is viewed as the precursor to modern Chemistry. Zosimos Botanicals embodies a vision of wholesome, clean and healthful natural living.

Linda Stein is the Founder/Formulator of Zosimos Botanicals LLC. A former Trademark Attorney, Linda changed her path to live a more serene, contented lifesyle. She is a wife, mother, activist, eco-preneur and friend. Linda is a contributing author to the award winning book "What's It Like Living Green" by Jill Ammon Vanderwood. She speaks annually at the DC Green Festival and was featured at the first annual Go Green America Expo. Zosimos Botanicals was rated one of the Top 10 Greenest Home-Based Businesses of 2008 by StartUp Nation. Linda refuses to sell any makeup or skincare products that are ranked outside of the 0-2 safest range by the Skin Deep cosmetic database. As a result of her dedication to eco-friendly practices, Zosimos Botanicals is a 2009 Environmental Award winner and a Green America approved business.
